February Fun at The Freewheel Event / Freewheel

It might be February but we’ve got lots of fun stuff on at The Freewheel this month.

We continue to support Live Music and we’ve already had a marvellous folk evening with Llunic. On Valentines Evening D’Accord will serenade our diners. Our Open Mic sessions will be on Saturday 11th (“It must be love” and Saturday 25th (“Something a bit folky”).

Friday Freewheel Films February French Fun (alliteration overload!). We started with the Oscar winning  “The Artist”. This will be followed up by the enchanting Amelie (10th), then Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris (17th) and finally a cycling comedy Belleville Rendez-Vous (24th).

There’s a number of Park Tool School Classes in The Workshop this month:

Monday 13th, 10am-1pm – Parent & Child Bike Maintenance

Saturday 18th, 9am-1pm – Beginners Bike Maintenance (Part 1)

Saturday 25th, 9am-1pm – Beginners Bike Maintenance (Part 2)

Tuesday 21st, 6.30-8.30pm – Bar Tape Masterclass with Ben

Sunday 26th 3-5pm – On-Ride Repair Class

Also in the Workshop there’s a Bike Fit Clinic on Saturday 18th. And all this month Ben will be providing a Tubs Fitting Service.

On Thursday 23rd Ellen’s Curry Night returns!

Throughout the month there will be regular activities including Art Club, Guitar Club – Players & Beginners, Pizza Nights, Sunday Roasts, Roadies Rides…. Lots of entertaining things!
